Pope Francis sends a condolence message to the final rites ceremony of the Chairman of the State Sangha Maha Nayaka Committee (SSMNC) Bhamo Sayadaw today.

Cardinal Charles Maung Bo, Archbishop of the Catholic Episcopal Church of Myanmar, read out the condolence message from Pope Francis.

The final rites ceremony of the Sayadaw which commences at on 6 June (today) and ashes will be set adrift into the water at 5.30 am on 7 June at Mandalay.
