Myanmar SAC Chairman and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing had a working meeting with Senior officials from Ministry of defense attending on behalf of the Russian Defense Minister Sergei Kuzhugetovich Shoiguat at MOD in Moscow on Monday.
The meeting was attended by SAC Chairman SG Min Aung Hlaing, Joint Secretary of the Council Lt-Gen Ye Win Oo, Commander-in-Chief (Air) General Tun Aung; Senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief, U Lwin Oo, Myanmar Ambassador to Russia and Brigadier General Moe Kyaw of the Myanmar Military Attaché to Russiaand Senior officials from the Russian military.
During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on ways to enhance existing friendship and military-technical cooperation between the two armed forces. The Myanmar military to continue in participating in defense capabilities competitions and exercises in Russia. The two sides also exchanged views on the current political situation in Myanmar and the ongoing cooperation between the two governments and the two armed forces in various fields, according to MRTV, state broadcaster of Myanmar.

Ethnic armed groups that have signed the Nationwide Ceasefire Agreement in Myanmar urged the Special Envoy of the ASEAN Chair on Myanmar to work on a four points proposal to overcome ongoing political crisis, said in a statement issued by EAOs.
The call was made during a meeting between the ASEAN Special Envoy PRAK Sokhonn who is Deputy Prime Minister as well as Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Cambodia and the seven ethnic armed groups that have signed a nationwide ceasefire agreement in Naypyidaw, Myanmar today.
These include urging special envoy to help and create a negotiated political environment and making every effort to meet with all stakeholders; ASEAN should work with international organizations, including NCA-recognized countries, to ensure the establishment of a mechanism for the protection of all civilians and for the free and equitable access to humanitarian assistance by all stakeholders, as well as for the resolution of current political conflicts and long-term rehabilitation and development programs.
The special envoy said he would work for a ceasefire, humanitarian aid and assistance to those in need, as well as political dialogue, said statement.
The EAOs also stressed the need for the ASEAN Special Representative to address the three-core values of the NCA: solve political problems with political means, implementing of an inclusive political dialogue and protection of civilians. and to address the current political crisis.
They called on the ASEAN Special Envoy to focus on overcoming the current political crisis.

SAC Chairman Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received the special envoy of the ASEAN chair to Myanmar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign affair and International Cooperation of Cambodia Mr. PRAK Sokhonn and delegation in Nay Pyi Taw on June 30 according to government’s source.
With SAC Chairman, SAC Joint Secretary Lt-Gen Ye Win Oo; Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Wunna Maung Lwin and Union Minister for International Cooperation U Ko Ko Hlaing attended.
The Deputy secretary general of ASEAN (Socio-Cultural Community) Mr Ekkaphab Phanthavong and senior officials also attended the meeting.

The ASEAN special envoy, Cambodia's deputy Prime Minister and minister for foreign affair and international cooperation, Mr. PRAK Sokhonn arrived in Yangon.
U Zaw Phyo Win, Director-General of the Department of Strategic Studies and Training, Ministry of Foreign Affairs , U Zaw Tun Oo ,Deputy Director General of the Department of Protocol , officials, Cambodian Ambassador to Myanmar Mr. CHHOUK Bunna and embassy officials welcomed the delegation at Yangon International Airport.

The Department of Archeology and National Museums is planning to submit the Shwedagon Pagoda in Bahan Township to UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.
Currently, Mrauk-U, Rakhine State, has been nominated for World Heritage status, and plans are underway to add the Shwedagon Pagoda after Mrauk-U.
"There are plans to submit the Shwedagon Pagoda to UNESCO. It has not been prepared yet.
We are currently working on Mrauk-U. We will go one by one," said Aung Aung Kyaw, director of the Department of Archeology and National Museums.
The Department of Archeology and National Museums is working with local and foreign experts to find and preserve strong archeological sites and artifacts in Myanmar.
Preparation for Mrauk-U, Rakhine State, was started in 2016 and submitted in December 2021.
Preparations are underway to be ready when UNESCO inspects.

About 150,000 tonnes of rice will be exported from Myanmar to Europe and Africa, including Belgium and Spain, according to a statement from the Myanmar Port Authority.
At present, two 183-meter-long vessels are being berthed at Sule Port for rice export.
Two 186-meter vessels and one 200-meter vessel, a total of five vessels, have been docked.
A total of 143,400 tonnes of rice will be exported to these countries.
One was to Spain; The other will leave for Togo soon.
From April 2021 to March 2022, a total of 135,7202 tonnes of rice was exported from Myanmar through the Sule Port , with rice and rice products being exported annually by sea by bulk carrier vessels.
In the three months from April to June 2022, a total of 582,330 tonnes of rice was shipped by 27 ships. The biggest exporters of Myanmar rice were Cameroon, China, Angola, The Philippines and Polan during April, 2022. The biggest buyers of broken rice were China, Spain Netherlands and Poland during same month, according to the Myanmar Rice Association.

Chairman of State Administration Council Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received a peace delegation led by Saw Stee, Commander-in-Chief of the Democratic Karen Benevolent Army (DKBA) at the Bayintnaung Villa in Naypyidaw, SAC's information team reported. DKBA peace delegation arrived in Naypyidaw yesterday and will hold detailed talks with the state peace team in the days following its meeting with Senior General Min Aung Hlaing.
